The Meaning Behind SebasBlooms

SebasBlooms began with a feeling I couldn’t ignore. The idea that most men don’t receive flowers until their funeral. That never sat right with me. I wanted to change that. I wanted to create something that gives people their flowers while they’re here… while they can feel them, see them, and experience their beauty in real time.

What started during 2020 with a single plant quickly grew into a passion. One plant turned into dozens, and before I knew it, I had fallen in love with the art of flowers and floral design. The moment that truly shifted everything for me was creating a bouquet as a gift and seeing the reaction, the smile, the appreciation, the emotion. That was it for me. I knew this was something deeper than just flowers.

My style is modern, fun, elegant, and always authentic. Every arrangement I create is completely custom and can never be replicated. I don’t just make bouquets. I create pieces that hold meaning. To me, flowers are a gift from the earth, meant to be experienced in the present. They remind us to slow down, appreciate the now, and find beauty in the smallest moments.

As a Costa Rican, my connection to nature and flowers runs deep. It’s something that ties me back to my roots, my family, my culture, and my identity, subtle but always present in everything I create.

I love designing for moments that come straight from the heart. Birthday surprises, “just because” pieces, and expressions of love that don’t need a special occasion. My goal is always the same: for you to feel a sense of awe, to be a little shocked by the beauty in front of you, and to truly feel something.
